Alligator/Pungo Canal, NC.

Sunday, December 9th. Being overtaken on the Neuse River, NC.

Captain Scott off duty.

Looking into Oriental, NC from the Neuse River.

Heading out of Beaufort Inlet, NC into the Atlantic Ocean. A pod of dolphins played
alongside the boat for a few hours later that night, swimming and jumping out of the water
only inches from the boat.

Monday, December 10th. Morning in the ICW just inside of Masonboro Inlet, NC.

ICW Wrightsville, NC.

Captain Jim at the helm. ICW inside Masonboro Inlet, NC.

ICW Carolina Beach, NC. Stopping for fuel and food before we head offshore. Next stop,
the Bahamas.

Tuesday, December 11th. Dolphins frequently swim and play alongside the boat. They like
to play between the hulls, under the tramp.

No land in sight.

Thursday, December 13th. Storm petrel over 170 miles offshore.

Chef Jim in the galley. May thanks to Jim for many great meals!

Saturday, December 15th. I there are many flying fish jumping and flying across the
surface of the water. This one jumped onto the deck during my watch.

Jim prepared the catch and I made Flying Fish with olive oil and garlic, fried eggs and toast
with coffee.

Sunday, December 16th. Land ho! An island off of Little Abaco Island, Bahamas. We spent
four days in the Atlantic without seeing land. Anchored at Crab Cay of the night and got
real sleep.

Monday, December 17th. The wind has been blowing 25+ for 12 hours now. We are
struggling to get to Great Guana Cay on one engine and against headwinds and a choppy
sea.

Orchid Bay, Great Guana Cay. After sailing, motoring, warping and pulling the boat up to
the fuel dock, we were able to take on fuel. But we were not allowed to cleat customs
here. So, back onto the boat we went, to cross the Sea of Abaco to clear at Marsh Harbor.
It was a rough ride and yes, against the wind.

Filling out paperwork in Marsh Harbour.
