Experienced in all aspects of home construction, such as framing, cabinetry, hardwood flooring, bathroom renovation, tiling, finish carpentry, roofing, etc. Projects include new construction, renovations, additions and decks. Experienced project manager. Knowledgeable in construction finances, techniques and ideas. Experience supervising multiple subcontractors and laborers.

Real-estate speculation: purchase and resale of homes
Researched real estate titles, loans, leans and property. Purchased, refurbished, and resold properties.

Boat Building and Renovation
Purchased sailboats and renovated for use and resale. Projects have included electrical overhaul, fiberglass reconstruction, woodworking, plumbing, engine repair, and rigging replacement. Designed and built various boats for personal use including rowboats, sailboats and iceboat designs.

INTERESTS AND INVOLVEMENTS                                                                                                                                           

Captain Scott R. Gaston has been delivering boats for over 10 years. Based out of Lewes, Delaware, he has completed multiple circumnavigations of the Delmarva Peninsula, sailed annually to Chincoteague, VA and transited the Intracoastal Waterway numerous times. His experience covers near coastal and offshore routes from Rhode Island to Florida and the Bahamas, the East and West coast of Central America, the Galapagos Islands, Mexico and Southern California. He has manned the wheel during two Panama canal transits and holds a Shellback Certificate. His single hand sailing experience includes the delivery of a 34-foot yacht from Norwalk, CT to Lewes, DE. He is skilled at the helm of all sailing craft from sunfish to square-rigged ships and power driven yachts. He sailed and instructed on board the USCGC Barque Eagle for two months, standing Helm/Lookout, Bos'n Mate and Oiler watches, earning two certification letters. Captain Gaston is an active Sea Scout leader teaching individuals boating and safety skills. He has served as Kent Coin Club President six years, accumulatively. Other interests include: woodworking, hunting, triathlons, teaching art and travel.
