Captain Scott R. Gaston has been delivering yachts for 5 years. Based out of Lewes, DE he has completed multiple circumnavigations of the Delmarva Peninsula, sailed annually to
Chincoteague, VA and transited the Intracoastal Waterway numerous times. His experience covers near costal and offshore routes from Rhode Island to Florida and the Bahamas, the East and West coast of Central America, the Galapagos Islands, Mexico and Southern California. His single hand sailing experience includes the delivery of a 34-foot yacht from Norwalk, CT to Lewes, DE.
He is skilled at the helm of all sailing craft from sunfish to square-rigged ships and power driven yachts. Sailed on board the USCGC Barque Eagle for two months, standing Helm/Lookout, Bos'n Mate and Oiler watches. Captain Gaston is an active Sea Scout leader teaching individuals boating and safety skills.
He has served as Kent Coin Club President six years, accumulatively. Other interests include: woodworking, hunting, triathlons, teaching art and traveling.
